Dr. Reardon utilizes the Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™ to straighten and align front teeth. After having many patients request that they have their front teeth straightened to have a more attractive smile, Dr. Reardon decided to offer this to his patients. The Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™ will move your front teeth to their most beautiful position giving you a very attractive smile. This technique works very well to alleviate crowding, overlapping, and spaced teeth. The best part about this technique is that it only takes six months to get a great smile! The process is very safe, comfortable, and predictable.
The Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™ utilizes the latest technology to move teeth but is also based upon orthodontic techniques that have been proven safe and reliable.
Actually, the opposite is true. The Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™ is a low force technique. The more braces are “tightened” the slower teeth are moved. Low force orthodontics is safer and faster.
No! Damages such as these are caused by high forces, not low forces. Also, individual biology and a high force technique can potentially cause complications. With the Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™ we do not utilize any high forces that would cause these complications, making this a very safe and predictable technique.
No, this technique utilizes low forces, not the high forces that cause pain.
No, the cost is less than traditional braces. This technique requires fewer office visits and is less expensive than comprehensive orthodontics.
In most cases the answer is yes. We offer both metal and clear braces. The clear braces actually blend in with the teeth and makes the braces virtually invisible.
We very rarely need to extract teeth using the Powerprox Six Month Braces Technique™.
We will see you once a month for a 15 to 30 minute appointment. The initial appointment when the braces are first placed takes a little bit longer. Usually it takes 10 visits or less to complete treatment.
Yes, every orthodontic procedure requires a retainer. If you do not want to wear a retainer after your teeth are straightened, we can splint the teeth together to prevent them from moving.
We will be more than happy to check with your insurance plan to determine the possible coverage. Each insurance plan varies so each patient is different. Our office is very skilled when it comes to working with insurance so we can easily determine coverage.
